COLUMBUS — The All-Ohio boys' basketball teams were announced by a statewide media panel with a total of seven area players being named, led by Fairfield Union junior Caleb Schmelzer, who was selected third team All-Ohio in Division II. The teams were selected by members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. Schmelzer did a little bit of everything for the Falcons, who won a co-championship in the Mid-State League-Buckeye Division with a 13-1 league record. The 6-foot-5 Schmelzer averaged 15 points and 7.
